Brooke de Lench is the Founder and Publisher of MomsTEAM.com®, the author of Home Team Advantage: The Critical Role of Mothers in Youth Sports (HarperCollins 2006), and Executive Director MomsTEAM's new non-profit arm, The MomsTEAM Institute.
Ms. de Lench is a sought-after speaker on a wide range of youth sport parenting topics. She has appeared on all four major television networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX), including appearances on The Today Show, CBS's Early Show, and three documentaries on youth sports, which aired on ESPN, HBO and A&E respectively.
She has consulted for PBS’s Frontline, HBO Real Sports, ABC’s Nightline, and a number of ESPN youth sports-related shows, and is quoted frequently in the print press, including Time, Reader's Digest, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, and The Washington Post. Her opinion pieces have appeared on the op-ed pages of major newspapers, including The Washington Post and Long Island Newsday.
Ms. de Lench was invited to participate in a November 2012 Aspen Institute roundtable in Washington, D.C., where three dozen thought leaders considered the question: "How can football best serve the interests of children, communities and public health?" at a symposium titled: "Playing Safety: The Future of Youth Football." She is also a regular participant at the annual NFL-USA Football Health and Safety roundtable.
A former high school and college athlete, ranked squash player, soccer coach and administrator, Brooke is the mother of triplet sons. She lives in the Boston area
